ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Trinity Solar, the Northeast’s largest privately-owned solar integrator, is seeking a Solar Electrician for our CT office located in Cheshire, CT. The Solar Electrician will be responsible for ensuring that Trinity Solar installations are executed to code and meet Trinity Solar company standards. The Licensed Electrician will responsible for working with the installation team and coordinating such projects with various internal departments at Trinity Solar.

Install electrical service equipment, wiring, and devices required for the installation of residential solar PV systems.
Ensure electrical systems meet company standard job specifications, the National Electrical Code, and other relevant local codes.
Act as an on-site supervisor for install teams and provide regular reports of team activities to management.
Assist in job safety and overall crew support including staging materials, general site work support, as well as site preparation and clean up.
Keep service van stocked properly.
Coordinate and communicate with electrical inspectors on projects as needed.
Correspond professionally with homeowners.
Provide regular updates of job status, complete necessary paperwork and photos.
Connecticut E1 or E2 Electrical License required.
National Electrical Code (NEC) knowledge required.
Solar experience is a plus but not required.
Project coordination experience preferred.
Must be willing to work in attics, crawl spaces and roof tops.
Must pass pre-employment criminal background check, driving record check, and drug screen
Work safely on roofs for extended period of time.
Safely ascend and descend ladders.
Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 to 50 lbs.
Good mechanical skills set, such as: working with hands, tools, climbing, good sense of balance, bending, kneeling, crouching, etc.
